Manassero becomes youngest Euro Tour winner

Italian teenager Matteo Manassero claimed his maiden European Tour win with a four-shot victory at the Castello Masters in Valencia and in doing so became the youngest ever winner on the Tour .

The 17 –year-old carded a final round of 67 and sank three consecutive birdie putts to cement his place in the history books. Sky Bet are offering  1/2 for him to win on the European Tour in 2011 (from 2/1) .

The former British Amateur Champion is 16/1 to win The Open Championship as a teenager and has been cut to 5/4 from 5/2 to make the next Ryder Cup team.
