On Saturday we play safe and focus on the all-weather card at Lingfield. The first of eight races is due off at 1255 and the advance going on the Polytrack is forecast as ‘Standard’.

Race 1 (Lingfield 1255) – Monadreen Dancer only just failed over C&D last time and is expected to go well again, whilst we also include My Jeanie who could go very well for Nora Loobie.

Race 2 (Lingfield 125) – Twinkled ran a decent race first time out last term and is not without a chance here. Along with Tuxedo he should see us through to the third leg of the Placepot.

Race 3 (Lingfield 200) – Captainrisk caught the eye finishing with some purpose last time out and should go close here. Another with solid claims is Captain Dimitrios who was only beaten by a length in a blanket finish over C&D recently.

Race 4 (Lingfield 230 – Court Applause is of interest with George Baker in the saddle today and has a decent chance. Diamond Vine struck last time out and is still open to improvement.

Race 5 (Lingfield 300) – Prince of Burma may still be ahead of the handicapper and has serious chances of completing a hat-trick in a decent race. Tarooq is another expected to be in the thick of the action.

Race 6 (Lingfield 335) – Art Scholar won well for the in-form Appleby stable recently and looks sure to give it a good go once again. In a closely-knit handicap we also include Cashelgar, likely to be better for a recent pipe-opener.

Suggested Lingfield Placepot perm – 2×2×2×2×2×2 = 64 bets
