Fuat Can Wins Unibet Open Prague!
We managed to track down Fuat Can and he had a few words on his fantastic win at Unibet Open Prague! As you know, Fuat is our 8th Unibet Open live event winner and walked away with a first prize win of no less than €167,500!
Interviewed by Pokertube’s Rikard Åberg, Fuat took some time to answer some questions about his win!
RA: So we’ve reached the end of Unibet Open Prague 2009 and I’m sitting here with the winner, Fuat Can. How do you feel, Fuat?
FC: I feel great!
RA: What do you think of the play on the final table?
FC: It was pretty good, but some players were in a hurry…
RA: What was your plan when you came to the final table? Because there were some really big stacks there…
FC: To take it easy, to wait for hands. You have to have patience on the final table because…it’s many players
RA: What did you think of the structure on the final table? Was it good enough for you to be patient?
FC: Yeah, it was good, it was good. You can wait for one or two rounds…if you raise one time it’s good enough
RA: So when we can down to short-handed, when there were 3 players left, your experience could really be seen. Are you an experienced short-handed player? Compared to the others?
FC: I think I was a little bit more experienced than the others, because they were a bit too passive, I think, even the chip leader…
RA: Ok, we had the final hand and we could see that Nine Nine won against Ace King. Was there another decisive hand before that?
FC: I don’t know…I can’t remember *laughs*
RA: So you think it was a grind for you?
FC: It was a grind, all the way, I think, yeah
RA: What are you going to do tonight?
FC: Party *smiles* with my friends!
