Betsafe.com poker in Copenhagen

The EPT had a great week in Copenhagen and we at Betsafe offered some nice poker with our side event. A lot of famous people were participating in our 4 table tournament, with 40 eager people playing poker.
WPT-winner

Winner of WPT in Paris last year, Theo Jørgensen, played in the Betsafe event and the Nordic Live Player of the year had a lot of fun.
Uffe Holm from stand-up to poker

Famous danish comedian Uffe Holm came from a gig in Randers to the Betsafe event and he was of course looking for some revenge after a not so sucessfull EPT.

Heidi the strongest

Heidi Mårtensson won the Betsafe event after a well played game, she got some nice cash for her win and we are looking to see her more in the future.

First EPT-title for Tureniec

After an exciting last day at EPT Copenhagen Michel Tureniec wins the title and DKK 3 700 000.

After a heads up battle for 3.5 hours against his countryman Per Linde the Swede Michael Tureniec could win EPT Copenhagen and the first prize of DKK 3 700 000.

In the last hand the players was all in. Linde showed 7-7 aginst Tureniecs A-J. The board 2-3-5-J-4 gave Tureniec a straight and his first ever EPT-title.

Michel Tureniec is a well known professional poker player and he has been very successful in tournaments both online and live.

Learn Omaha hold’em

The way you play Omaha it’s quite similar to Texas hold’em with two big differences. Like in Texas you get five communitycards with a flop, turn and a river and it’s four bettingrounds.

The two major differences in Omaha is that you get four private cards instead of two and you need to use two of these four cards in your complete five-card hand. The fact is that you must use two cards from your private hand and three cards from the board.
